Our brilliant client is an ambitious and successful global trading group. With offices in the US, UK and Malta, the firm thrives on innovation and collaboration.
Based in the New York office, we are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to oversee the HR operations in the US, ensuring seamless support and well-being for the local team. Working alongside the CEO, the HR Manager will report to the London based Group COO and collaborate with the wider HR team across all jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll administration and benefits enrolment.
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to candidate selection.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support employees with visa and immigration requirements.
- Ensure compliance with US labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employment policies and records.
- Handle employee relations, including grievance resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Provide guidance and support for employee queries.
- Implement and manage training and development programs.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee well-being.
- Track and record employee leave and time off.
What we are looking for:
- Ideally 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-related tools.
- Experience working with remote teams and satellite offices is a plus.
